Route 66 - Act IV

Texas offers us cowboys, beef on the hoof, ten Cadillacs buried nose first in the sand, a leaning water tower, one of the largest crosses in the western hemisphere, a museum devoted to barbed wire. Lets go visit Texas! One hundred and eighty miles of Route 66 travels thru Texas as it heads westward, straight as an arrow, across the Texas Panhandle with it’s endless prairie, gently rolling hills and deep canyons. The Lone Star State has a smaller amount of miles of roadbed than most other states, Texas is big on Route 66 attractions and big on history.
