Day 1 - Home to Los Angeles
We board our early flight today with much anticipation of the coming days which will feature the parade of all parades, The 120th Rose parade themed “Hats Off To Entertainment.” Arrive in Los Angeles and head to Long Beach and come aboard the legendary Queen Mary and relive the golden age of Luxury ocean travel. We’ll enjoy an included lunch today on the Queen Mary before we check into our hotel.  Unpack, relax, and enjoy as we have chosen a lovely hotel in Anaheim for the next 5 nights.  This evening enjoy a welcome dinner at the hotel.

Day 2 - Los Angeles
Later enjoy a city tour of exciting Los Angeles.  See Mann’s Chinese Theater where the footprints of the stars line the sidewalk, as well as the Kodak Theatre, home of the Academy Awards.  Motor along Rodeo Drive and Beverly Hills.  Get an inside scoop on the history and beauty this area.  We’ll arrive back at the hotel this afternoon for a free evening.

Day 3 - Los Angeles
After breakfast at the hotel, we travel to Duarte and the Buena Vista Pavilion where you will have a chance to see volunteers put the finishing touches on many of the beautiful floats.  Literally, tens of thousands of flowers are lovingly applied to the floats, creating spectacular displays and magical excitement. Tonight we will ring in the new year in grand style at a wonderful New Year’s Eve Celebration including entertainment, dancing, and great food!  Please note: we will be ringing in the new year at 10pm California time (12:00 midnight Minnesota time).

Day 4 - Los Angeles
Happy New Year!  Attend the 120th Tournament of Roses with the theme “Hats Off to Entertainment!” Enjoy the best reserved bleacher seating as we see first hand the magically animated floats, hear the many outstanding marching bands and more, as we witness in person what millions see though the eyes of television.  We’ve packed a delicious box breakfast for you so you won’t miss a moment of the parade.  All of this is planned with you in mind.  After the parade the remainder of the day is at your leisure.  Some may want to spend some time at nearby Disneyland.

Day 5 - Los Angeles
Join us for a complimentary tour to Laguna Beach for browsing the charming shops or maybe a stroll along the breathtaking oceanfront.  We also include a stop at San Juan Capistrano and Dana Point.  Later we’ll enjoy a special farewell dinner celebration before attending the world famous Crystal Cathedral, featuring the awe-inspiring performance of “The Glory of Christmas.”  This inspirational story of Jesus’ birth will come alive as angels fly overhead singing praises to the King.  Truly a grand finale to our New Year’s tour.

Day 6 - Los Angeles to Home
Today we board our flight for home with memories of an unforgettable holiday, celebrating the New Year in grand style.
