1. Home to Bloomington
Travel to Bloomington for an overnight stay.  Lunch is served at Burnstad’s Cafe today before we arrive at the hotel.  Enjoy an evening at your leisure tonight.

2. Bloomington to Nashville
View fall colors as we make our way into Tennesse.  Arrive in Nashville for our overnight.  This evening attend the Grand Ole Opry, the longest running radio show in radio history.

3. Nashville to Pigeon Forge
Scenery is great as we travel to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, two quaint little cities nestled in the Smoky Mountains.  Dinner is served at the charming Applewood Farmhouse Restaurant.  Attend one of the hottest shows playing in Pigeon Forge, “Country Tonite.”

4. Pigeon Forge
A leisurely morning allows time for church or just relaxing.  Later, visit Dollywood, the greatest variety of wholesome entertainment in the Smokies!  Choose from 40 live shows, 50 craft showcase displays, Dollywood Boulevard, eight acres of movie memories and more.  Dollywood will lift your spirits and leave you with special memories.

5. Pigeon Forge to Asheville
Take a scenic tram ride up America’s largest aerial tramway.  The breathtaking panorama of Gatlinburg and the Great Smoky Mountains is inspiring.  Enter the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, the most visited of all the National Parks.  See the beauty of the park in fall foliage as we motor along The Blue Ridge Parkway, one of the most beautiful drives in America.  Arrive in Asheville, North Carolina, for a relaxing two night stay.  Dinner is at a local favorite restaurant.

6. Asheville
Today you will cross the threshold into a world of hospitality, beauty, and luxury that has remained unchanged for more than a century.  The Biltmore Estate, home of George Washington Vanderbilt, is a testament to the uncompromising ideals of an exceptional man.  Stroll the immaculate gardens and enjoy a delicious lunch at the estates Deer Park Restaurant, offering a wonderful atmosphere.  Tour the Biltmore’s own winery which has become the most visited and among the most acclaimed.  Later wind along Hickory Nut Gorge, a scenic canyon drive as we motor through colorful mountains to Chimney Rock Park, with its towering granite monolith that affords breathtaking 75-mile views.

7. Asheville to Lexington
Today we make our way to Berea for lunch at Boone Tavern.  It is here that the famous Berea College is located.  This afternoon you are guests at the Kentucky Horse Park located on 1,032 acres of lush bluegrass pasture.  Relax on  horse drawn wagons and take in the views of this immaculate horse park.  Visit the International Museum of the Horse.  Arrive at your hotel for a restful evening and choose from a variety of restaurants tonight.

8. Lexington to Bloomington
This morning stop at Churchill Downs in Louisville, home of the world’s most famous horse race.  Later arrive in Bloomington for our last overnight.

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before we make our final stretch for home.  Enjoy lunch on your own along the way.  Arrive home late afternoon or evening.
